Our Patriot’s Journey

We aren’t sure how Robert got to Central Park, but there he was!  And this lovely lady took him home to Florida with her.

March 14, 2010 --

Hello Brian and Mary...  I found the lovely memorial card for your son and his comrades in Central Park (NYC). I was deeply touched by the idea. I grew up in NY but now live in Florida, so I decided to bring it back to Florida. I brought it to the beautiful marina in Tarpon Springs, FL (Tampa area).

It is one of my favorite places to visit because it is a beautiful sponge dock district. Many boats here bring back many types of beautiful sea sponges which are displayed and sold to the public. There is also a large population of Greeks living here. There are rows and rows of authentic Greek restaurants (my favorite food), friendly people, and beautifully relaxing scenery.

I hope your son’s journey does not end here.  I'm sure the next person who finds this card will be as touched as I have been and take him to another wonderful place.
God Bless!
