October 26, 2009 – I found the card honoring your son while in North Conway, NH about a month ago while on a vacation with my family. I was boarding a train with my son age 4 who loves everything about trains. It was peeking over the train schedule on the boarding platform. I have carried the card in my wallet since then. I have thought long and hard about Robert and where I should place the card. I am a police officer and currently assigned to K-9 training. I carried the card to church and prayed. I knew that I hard to place it in a special place and for quite some time I could not come up with “that” location.
Last week I attended a school in Fayetteville, NC, where it came to me. I handed the card to a classmate who is assigned to the Ranger training brigade. I find it impossible to put it into words how or why this man was the place to leave the card with; however I am sure it was.
