Our Patriot’s Journey

I found your son's photo at a rest stop overlooking the Testlin River just before you enter the small town in the Yukon Territory. It was my privilege to take on your heart-felt challenge; to take the photo with me as we traveled up the Alaskan Highway to Fairbanks, Alaska where it rests now, waiting for someone else to further it's journey.

Our trip started in Randle, a small town in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of Washington. I joined my parents as on their camping road trip up to Alaska where my dad was invited by the professor of mycology at the university to start a publishing venture. While here in Fairbanks we camped at the Chena River State Recreational Park. I left your son's photo at the information kiosk. Hopefully soon you'll get an update from this photo.

I wish you all the best. God bless,

K.R.
