Our Patriot’s Journey

We Took Robert to His Brother’s Wedding . . .

Our younger son, David was married in June on an absolutely beautiful day and location in a gazebo along the banks of the Pamlico River in Aurora, NC.

Afterwards, I left one of his photographs in the gazebo.  I had given up hope that someone would find it and let us know.  But someone DID find it, and we’ve now heard from them!

Please read on:

BRIAN & Mary,

Found Robert’s photo on the Pamlico River near Aurora, NC around mid June ..... and had plans to leave somewhere on the Cabot Trail, Nova Scotia...... but had to make a fast drive around the coast because (Hurricane) “Earl” was expected to hit ..... did leave Robert’s photo at East Musquash Lake, Maine,   9-3-2010, 3 pm ..... was a very peaceful place.

I also have a son that served in the Army Mortunary Unit in Iraq, about 2 years ago .... he made it home alive, but not without the scars of war.

So sorry for the pain you must feel

Katie (A Mom too)
